Project #4: Pumpkin Painting

This project was fun because I love to paint. It was also fun because almost my whole art table did Sponge Bob characters. It took some time to mix paint to get the perfect shade of Squidwards skin. It also took a while to sketch Squidward out on the pumpkin before I painted it. Painting lines was one of the more difficult things of this project.  If I could do it over again I would have made the lines straighter. This project was really fun and I hope to do it again next year.

Project #3 Value Squares

This project was really fun to do. It took quite a bit of time to get all the detail and shading right, but it turned out good. If i could change anything about this project I would change the way I lined it up on the black paper, because its not really neat looking. I also would have tried to make the arms, feet, hands, etc. look more realistic.

Project #2 Stool Project

This piece turned out okay. It was quite difficult to do. I think I could have captured the lighting better than I did. If I could do it over I would have spend more time perfecting it. It was difficult and frustrating when something didn't work out in this project because it took time to fix it and it messed with the shading when I had to erase things. I learned that time is key! Projects should always take some time if you want it to look good.

Project #1: "Line Adjectives"

This piece was harder to do than it looks. You really have to think about the adjectives you want to use to describe yourself, and how your going to inturpret them. I really like how it turned out though. This project was done very succsesfully. I think the concept of what I was trying to do worked out, but the line accuracy was off. Looking back I would have tried to be neater while doing this project. The most difficult part of this project was choosing the adjectives. I learned a lot aboubt myself and my abilities while making this project.
