Project #7: Aboriginal Dot Painting

This project was really cool. It took A LOT of time, but it was fun. I never knew exactly how it would turn out, so I was always excited about it. I really like the colors I chose for this project. I think they worked well. This is one of the projects I'm most proud of. If  I could change anything, I would have made the dots neater. Other than that, I feel good about this project, and I think it was very successful.

Project #6: 4-Steps to Abstraction Painting

This project took quite a bit of time. I had to make sure that each time I "zoomed in" that the decorations were still the same color as the were before. I chose a Christmas tree because, it was around Christmas time, and I love Christmas. If I were to re-do this, I wold have chosen smaller brushes to paint with. The most difficult thing about this was taking the time to paint it. Sometimes I would just get bored, but then I realized how awesome it would look when I was done. This project was fun, yet time consuming.

Project #5: Gesture Drawing

This piece was really difficult to do. It required a lot of detail and long work.I feel like I did a good job on this, although I could have been more careful with the conte' crayons. I used three pictures of girls that looked similar, so it would flow better. If I could re-do this project I probably would have spent more time on it, it doesn't look quite finished to me. I learned that to make a project like this, you have to have a lot of time and patience.
